Don't know. Go to their website and email them. I do know they make MTM shoes all the time. They have an expanding client base with well known sports figures with large feet.

ny would seem more appropriate... is there anywhere to buy bontoni in boston right now? they are sold at BG in manhattan currently. Boston does not have a lot of high end shoe options currently, so this might be good for them.

Lewis one of the owners lives in Boston and runs things from there probably one of the main reasons he wants the showroom there. Agree though NY would be a good option.

Hello Man of Lint,

Surely with your imaginative name you, and only you, would be familiar with the cursive writing found inside a pair of Bontoni shoes.

I recently purchased a pair of supposedly Bontoni shoes from a fellow in Australia who in turn secured them from an estate sale.

Neither he nor I am sure if they are Bontonis. Notwithstanding that, they look and feel like no other shoe that I've ever owned - pure sliken(ly) smooth in both appearance and fit. I am so enamored with them that I just have to pin down the artisan who created them.

Any photos of signatures/writing inside of Italian shoes that you're familiar with? The writing is just like the writing you'd find in a signed pair of Lattanzis.

Many thanks for reading this Oh Man of Lint.

All the best,

Mike

That Fatto a Mano type writing looks similar in most Italian shoes of that type like they all went to the same school IMO eg Harris, Santoni,Bontoni,
