Hey guys I was at wilkes and I saw these shoes and I thought at first they were a bit chunky looking but when I tried them on they were so comfortable. My main concern is do you think these shoes would look good under a suit or is it to chunky?

opinions/suggestions welcome!

They are too big for you and you will traumatize the forum wearing hairy legs with these shoes. I'm suprised the store allowed you to try them on.

they actually fit perfect even a hair snug if that.

Surely your feet are not as long as these shoes, are they? They seem quite long on you, Even though a pant leg would cover the lacing, they are rather meaty looking and bordering on clown length. Perhaps it is also the angle of the photo.

i am gonna think its the angle of the picture. my foot did fit in all the way and when I walked in them they were a hair snug and with some breaking in they would be probably a good fit. I just want to make sure if i make the investment they arent too chunky for a suit.

They look quite sleek.

What gives anyone the impression that they are too big? The lacing isn't even completely closed.

Thanks, thats what i thought. what about under a suit though?

they look lovely. you could wear them under a light coloured suit with ease. if you like them then pull the trigger.

They could work well with a suit. eg. That colour can look great with lighter colours or light grey. Take a look in WAYWRN, you'll find examples with antiqued acorn and similar coloured shoes.

EDIT: What Nifty said.

If they fit you, great! As far as the shoes themselves, they look stunningly beautiful. You could easily wear a suit with them but not a black suit.

You certainly have good taste in shoes. Those Bontoni's are growing on me fast and I love the bone colour of those Santoni's. Nice! Interesting medallion on the toe as well.

don't buy the bontoni's - consider buying from www.riderbootshop.com instead.
