RL is too busy hanging out on his ranch to give a damn what's going on. He's probably roping a steer right now...

I think when guys refer to blue label they mean the normal Polo Ralph Lauren line, not the women's "Collection". Just an easy way to differentiate from Black and Purple

men's "collection" (MII) shoes also have a blue label but that's a whole different beast..

Does anyone own any denim & supply jackets? How is the fit? Is it like Rugby/polo custom fit where the armholes aren't that high and the jackets not that slim?

I'm digging this

http://www.complex.com/style/2012/01/ralph-lauren-denim-supply-gives-the-field-jacket-a-whole-new-look

I've seen other jackets similar to it with contrast color pockets and a yoke design but can't think of the brands now. I think it was a Japanese one. Anyone know? Thanks.

According to the website it's inspired by "the warehouse and artist communities of Brooklyn, NY." The clothes look kind of like RRL Americana, but much less expensive. Lots of plaids and jeans. Anyone see this up close yet? Thoughts?

Looks like upscale occupy gear

Why do some lines have weird blog-like content that is completely contrived out of the insistence that these lines cater to free-thinking bohemian cowboys? Why are all the clothes so old looking? They're new, aren't they? Why are the web interfaces for each line so different in some cases? Get it together, Ralph.

Don't forget all the label colour codes as well, green label, blue label, purple label, black label, etc. Perhaps that's the way Mr. Lifshitz likes it...confusing and byzantine.

Seems like the brands going under, with most stuff on firesale on the RL website.

How does this stuff fit? Debating on grabbing a few random pieces from the line for casual wear since it's so cheap.

I was at a Macys a few weeks ago and ended up getting a pair of the worn chinos for around $20. I also got a grey chambray work shirt for $15, and two of the long sleeve jersey henleys for $15 each. I also ended up getting an additional %10 off since I was visiting the US from Canada.

The fit is pretty decent all around. The Chinos are fairly slim. I actually had to get them a size up to have them fit in the thighs. The henleys fit really great at first but they stretch out really fast. I wish I could have gotten a small instead of medium for those.

Everything else Ive tried on from the line has fit pretty well. Its not super slim fitting but its not baggy at all either.

You guys are awesome hahaha.

Watched the video...made me lol big time.

The message I got from it: "Wear these clothes and you too can live with your friends in a random NY apartment your spoiling parents paid for while you grow your hair out to various lengths and fuck an array of girls who are all going through a self described minor life crisis and an amateur photography phase."

I know that this line is the weakest line from RL, but I was wondering if I should get this denim jacket instead of a Levis:

Do you think the quality is better than Levis? Thanks.

I'm actually liking Rugby and Denim and Supply alot right now. Purple is too expensive for me and the polos from D&S and Rugby have a little more "personality" than Polo. D&S reminds me on AllSaints SpitalFields but cheaper and Rugby is like more mature A&F.

Just got a few D&S items from the recent RL sale. I really like their T's and sweatshirts, very comfortable and very fitted at an awesome price. In fact, I find the fit better than the PRL/RLBL stuff, at least on the sweatshirts.

I ordered a bunch of Polo stuff as well as D&S during this current sale. Almost sent all of the D&S button downs back. They're cut for teenagers -- .5 size smaller than Polo or RRL. A shame because the price was right (not so much the quality)...

I own a almost a dozen D&S items, I actually love the button down shirts, they are slim fitted. If you don't want a slim fit then most of the RL lines aren't for you. It's no slimmer then my RLBL, RLPL, or rugby items.

As for the quality I also have to strongly disagree, the quality on all the button ups I have from them is on point. The fabrics aren't BL or PL quality but it's to normal RL standards.
