Ok, I know this has been asked a million times before but i've been getting inconsistent answers from researching online. I want to buy an american apparel flex fleece hoodie (unisex) online, but i am unsure of the sizing. Here are my measurements:
5 ft 8 inches
138 lbs
UPADATE: remeasured my chest, chest around 36 inches (without a shirt)
waist 30 inches (inseam 30inches if that helps)
normal to muscular build - I work out
I know that american apparel has sizing info on their site, and according to these measurements i should be opting for a size small but i am slightly concerned the small might be short length wise. I want the hoodie to fit me a TINY bit on the baggy side, i am not a fan of super tight hoodies. So I am seriously considering getting a Medium because I have started working out at the gym and might bulk up a bit. My only concern is that the medium would be wayy too baggy for me as the size chart says it is for men with chest size 38-40inches and waist 32-34 inches. Though i am slightly confused as to whether or not we measure our chest with or without a shirt on because i plan to wear a shift underneath.
Has anyone purchased one of these hoodies from american apparel before? could you give me some basic info on the sizing, i can't decide whether or not i should get a small or medium. THANK YOU!

you don't really think you're going to bulk up do you? Get a size Small.
