Luxury Canned Foods?

Thread Starter
I'm a paranoid schizophrenic and I stock up every summer with canned/nonperishable foods in case of major disaster. Are there any "luxury" canned goods lasting up to 18 months? I saw a Bourdain episode where they served him supposedly delicious canned seafood in Spain. I'm wonder if there are similar products in the states? Thank you all.

I can see it now... you, sitting alone in a post-apocalyptic scene... smoldering ruins... eating tinned pheasant. worship2.gif

How luxury are you trying to go? Like stunting on the plebes in the apocalypse/hoping Piobaire crosses the country all Cormack MCarthy-style to barter for a can of your Rougie canned foie gras?

You can by them Stateside through La Tienda.

I bought a pretty wide selection for my pops last year. I remember the Galician clams and the mussels being particularly tasty.

My best friend brought me back some canned foie gras from Quebec that I'm looking forward to cracking open.
