Belts do not have to be thick. And in your case the chromexcel will last a LONG time, as it is a oil pull-up, and therefore it will never get stiff, and you will barely have to treat it with anything other than a drop of Neatsfoot oil every two years.

I have a slim black one for jeans I got from tanner, it's great. Very soft leather.
