I can't keep up with all the minutia of the rules, but they need 2 unpaid item strikes to have action taken on their account, IIRC.

This is the winning comment right there... people treat ebay like a bricks & mortar store, they can buy something, wear it to their party and then try to screw the seller over. most of the time getting away with it
