Thank you, Its a really nice little watch. We seem to do more and more vintage stuff - quite time consuming but very rewarding bring classics back to life, in particular when they are family pieces.

This is one of my favourites to date. Absolutely glorious watch, one I would have loved to keep. I think Id have used a thinner leather if it was for me, but the Barenia is totally in keeping with vintage stuff after some use.

Just purchased my first belt from Charlie and Equus.  Went with the Lined and Raised Bridle leather belt in Australian Nut with hazel lining and natural thread.  This is my first foray in custom belts and waiting with great anticipation.

Charlie was quick to reply to my questions and it was an easy process overall.

No VAT so that is a nice bonus.

Can you do curved ends to the straps for curved spring bars? Thanks. Wanted to snag a green ostrich strap for my VC traditionelle small seconds (something a bit more wild!) and with the discount this is a good time to jump.

The devil is always in the detail for things like this! The likely answer is yes, but maybe drop me an email/pm with some photos and I can take a look at the radius of the curve etc :-)

Quick shot of a belt we've just completed that will be winging its way to Hollywood shortly. This is a black Rusticalf Stratfield strap with Ruthenium buckle, the photo doesnt quite do justice to how black the buckle is, we put the combination together very much as a stealth belt for someone who wears a lot of black. Fully hand stitched as ever!

Hi Charles,

Have been notice your superior workmanship and quality that you provide.

I would like to know wherethe this black Rusticalf Stratfield strap with Ruthenium buckle can go with

red thread that make it more casual?

Last but not least, is there any discount codes for this month?

I understand for SF member there is a 10% discount, but really out of my budget... Really need your

help...

Looking forward for your reply.

Thanks

Hi Sam,

Glad you like the belts! Red thread would certainly work with this design, we make a lot of Black bridle leather belts with red thread and its a good paring so not a problem if thats what you'd like to do.

Im afraid no more coupons planned for this month, but we're quite spontaneous so watch this space, you never know! There wont be on that gives a great deal more discount the the SF10% one though.

Hope this helps :-)

Hi All,

The currency worm is turning! For you guys in the US the £ is pretty much at a 5 year low against the $ so its a great time to buy! Take advantage of our (hopefully temporary) plunging like a stone currency :-)

We have much in the pipeline, as ever, but heres a few development photos. This is a leather we've been trying to source for several years called Baranil, very beautiful and very subtle from one of the last independent (ie not succumbed to being bought by Hermes or LVHM) and thus very worthy of support. We will cary it in a variety of colours but we've made up a trio of belts from the first piece (one for a poster here who has commissioned a lot of lovely things over the years, one for me and one for which we are currently sworn to secrecy..) which is a beautiful rich dark brown. Ive hand stitched the belts with Beige Lin Cable which glows a very subtle shade of gold with such a dark brown, one of my favorite combos..

More to follow, I'll try to take good photos when Ive finished them
