A midnight blue would be just lovely...

I think you'd sell a lot of mid Browns, as it's such a fashion staple to match with other leathers (shoes, belts, etc).

I agree on both counts. Actually the only reason we haven't a mid brown yet is I haven't found the perfect shade. I love mid brown so I want to get it just right

Glad to hear you say that actually--when I got my watch, I was so particular about the alligator shade of brown that I was swapping out various mid browns from the retailer's different stores trying to get it just right.

Theres nothing more important to the whole than the detail!

British racing green would look spectacular with a Deep Sea Alarm I am wearing today. Keep us posted.

Hi Guys

Just a few photos from the last couple of days.

First up is the next prototype in the "Lloyd" wallet family we're developing. This is a minimal card case, two card slots on each side plus a central pocket. The prototype is in British Racing Green goatskin with Beige Lin Cable. The other wallet shown is the inspiration for the whole series, my Grandfathers wallet from the 50s

Next up is one of our Special Edition Rustical Lined and Raiseds, this one is in 40mm with a 23kt Gold finished Aspley. Its in leather no 22 with Beige Lin Cable, entirely hand stitched like all our work. We all but have the Rose Gold finish we've been working on ready to go as well.

Last up, our Laced belt is Australian Nut and Orange Lin Cable. Bold but good choice by its owner!

Love all the photos!

Is there a Rusticalf lined/raised that covers the oxblood/Burgundy space? Some of them do look more red than others, but it's hard to tell from photos.

Good stuff :-) You'll like the Rose Gold when we photograph it as well!

Yes, 23 is dark Oxblood and the 31 is a redder version. Both very nice! We can send samples if it helps though?

I have 31 and it is a great light Burgundy. Ever so slightly lighter than my burgundy Carminas.

You can see it here: http://static.equusleather.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/_/d/_dsc6703.jpg

As the very proud owner of the above I wanted to say thank you very much for the exquisite craftsmanship. Everything is done to perfection and the belt looks even more impressive in person.

I am glad I went for the 34mm version and not bigger because the lace adds to it and brings it up to around 38mm anyway.

Two suggestions/questions if I may: have you thought about offering an option to have combinations of different colours for the belt and the lace? Also it might look nice if you dry stamped your horse head logo at the hole end of the belt.

I am already thinking about my next order.

PS: how is the work on those Malcolm Appleby buckles coming along?

Ah! I did wonder if the owner was a SFer! Really glad you like it :-)

Both are good suggestions! We do do different coloured lacing from time to time, everything is custom made so its not a problem to do. The only tricky bit is I think both leathers should have the same edge colour, so we cant do London Tan and Black for eg, We sould get the option on the website really!

Very happy to place the logo at the tip on request, or after the stitching which also works well

I actually made a couple of straps for the first production Malcolm Appleby buckle earlier on today! Its been a bit swamped in the Christmas rush, but it should be on the website soon. The design is done and works really well, the buckles can be stitched to a strap or work with a Stratfield style interchangeable belt kit strap. Buckle no 1 of course is the horse, and is looking for a home after Ive taken some photos! The Scroll buckle is next up in due course, plus Malcolm and I are working on some silver ornamentation for leather and precious metal jewellery.
