Hello everyone, Dawn here.

The Sterling Silver West End is now live on the website and can be found here

Also, the next 'Last Order' date is looming for delivery in time for Christmas. This Sunday, midnight, for anyone in Canada, Eastern Europe, Cyprus and Greece.

Today (November 14th) is also the last date for ordering Lined & Raised Belts, Watch Straps and Wallets in time for Christmas.

I'm also putting together some lovely Saphir Gift Kits, to appear later today.

Such a shame!  Any chance I can get a trial 1 1/8' Mayfair for Christmas? ;)  I can "test" it for you LOL

Would love to say yes - we haven't got even a master copy from our buckle makers yet so I think it'll be next year now. Style forum will be first to hear as ever though!

I have several 1 1/4 west end that I wear with suits and I'm roughly your dimensions (5'10'' and 175). Not too wide at all.

Charlie - actively lobbying my wife to let me send In my black nickel west end to have it refitted with a sterling Mayfair, and repurpose the west end (after changing from matte to polished) on a burgundy or dark Havana strap. How many of the sterling may fairs did you get? I'm not sure how long my lobbying effort will take but don't want to miss out.

Good Lobbying! We have sold all the original batch but more are on their way. I intend to have them as a permanent stock buckle rather than Special Edition, there may be the odd glitch in supply, all the people that make buckles for us are little so get overwhelmed at times but that aside there shouldn't be any supply issues, in theory at least!

Charlie - can you do ridged and padded watch straps? I have a strap that is wearing out. The edges look to be made with a cord underneath to create ridges (like on some handmade shoes) and the center is padded (until the pin holes). I am pretty sure about the cord/twine as I can see some kind of textile in th bridges where the leather has worn away. The padding is surrounded by stitching.

Is that something you can do?

Hello Dopey - Dawn here, Charlie is out of the workshop today, but if you send him a direct email (charlie@equusleather.co.uk) with some pictures of your watch strap then he'll get in touch.

Hello StyleForumers, Dawn here.

The closing dates have been and gone for everywhere except the UK (which closes on November 30th) for orders to arrive in time for Christmas.

However, I'm going to open up another ten slots only for SF folk. So if you are wanting to place an order and have it in time for Christmas, now is your chance.

I'm giving you all a 15% discount code, but it can only be used ten times and can't be combined with the usual SF 10% discount code that is always available.

Once the code has been used up, it will stop working.

The code is: SFTEN15%

The code will work on any items added to your cart, but Lined & Raised Belts, Wallets and Watch Straps are not included in the delivery before Christmas - there's just not enough time left for them smile.gif

Happy shopping smile.gif

Hi Guys,

Sorry we've been pretty quiet for the last few days. Having completely outgrown our last workshop we've spent the last couple of days moving over to our new one. Lots more light and space! Couple of photos included of part of the production area where we store leather and cut and stitch belts and watch straps. More photos of the finishing and metalworking areas in due course :-)

Now, back to making!

Charlie

We have 4 slots left for international orders to be made and received in time for Christmas - remember, you must use the code SFTEN15% to qualify - plus you get 15% off your entire cart, a bigger discount than the usual 10%.

Once the code has been used ten times it will stop working smile.gif and remember, the code will work on any items added to your cart, but Lined & Raised Belts, Wallets and Watch Straps are not included in the delivery before Christmas - there's just not enough time left for them smile.gif

Hi All,

A couple of photos of development work and previews of forthcoming products for you all :-)

First off a complete one off thats partially a sample and partially product development. This is a Barenia belt with a Natural calf lining, fully hand stitched in Ecru Lin Cable and with a custom acid etched Damascus buckle. We plan to launch the Barenia belt on the website after Christmas. Just an iphone photo so doesnt quite do the leather justice!

Second up - fresh arrived from Paris is a new buckle that will become a belt with the working title the Aspley. Its taken a very long time to get this far but we've been working with the oldest and best buckle maker in Paris to help broaden our range of buckles, this is the first instalment! The Aspley will be available in 30mm, 35mm and 40mm

In other news we've just completed a camera strap thats going of to be a film prop, to my knowledge our work hasn't been in a film yet so we're quite excited!
