I have been trying for 5 minutes to formulate what you just wrote, so +1.

Update: there has been a delay, and now I won't be getting my chair in the time that was promised. So, I go on vacation for 2 weeks on the 11th of May and the chair is going to be shipped to the office of my apartment complex while I'm away. D: This is not how I imagined it. Nope. Not one bit.

I will say though, that it's not the company's fault.  They are waiting for the container to arrive and it's been delayed, so I guess it's out of their hands.  It is sad though.  And disappointing.

How is it all these posts come from 1 posts poster, with a return rate of 0.

How does it feel to be the poorest person in your group of friends?

The old container trick is one of the oldest in the books. The manufacturers of these fakes are always one step against the law. Believe it or not most are made in Italy due to a loophole in their copyright law. They get closed down by court order and open up elsewhere a week later. I do believe you will get your chair but the nature of the business leads to an erratic supply chain.

Lovely... Well, all I can do now is hope for the best. I do believe that they could have at least tried to make up for the delay somehow, like a small refund or something for my trouble but I guess that's asking too much? frown.gif

It would be unfair to say I told you so so I won´t. If its any consolation I do honestly believe you will get your chair. These guys operation(though illegal) are well organized and will have different sources for the chair. It will turn up, just later!

Yeah, I will probably get the chair... If the people in my apartment office don't decide to steal it. :/ And what is really weird is on their website it says that the black leather and rosewood is in stock! I asked them about it and they said it will be listed as in stock a week before they get the "shipping container" in. I find that kind of fishy.

So, I just called Rove and Matt told me that there is a possibility that the chair will make it to me before I go on vaca. He said that I could maybe do express shipping and it would be there in time but I would have to pay for it. :/ I feel like I'm the crazy ex who won't stop calling or something. Lol. I can tell that they humor me there but they probably roll their eyes every time I contact them. I am freaking out over here, obviously I have no patience. But my vacation is really going to blow if I don't get the chair before I go. All I'm going to be thinking about is where the chair is, is it safe, is it damaged??? Ugh, I'm going to be having heart palpitations until I find out when it will arrive. Pray for me, ppl!!!
