One man's trash...........another man's treasure.........................that's what keeps it interesting!

There are no rights and wrongs in fashion.......only good choices (otherwise known as mine) and bad choices (otherwise known as yours - duh). smack.gif

I have an almost identical pair in burgundy that I wear with all my suits. They look great, a little longer than my other shoes but I'm pretty tall so I think it works.

Exactly. I am 6'4", so the longer the toe the better for me actually.

Go into PS and try them on if you have any questions or concerns... I'm sure you'll see these work well for you.

I used to wear my Lowndes with suits but I dont anymore. Actually I dont wear the Lowndes anymore generally and wont be buying any more double monks in the future. My love affair with them has ended.

Just wanted to update everyone; I want into ps today. I didn't like the shoe. It wasn't the shape of the toe, it was the cap. It's a lot more prominent in person that in the picture and it kind of turned me off.

I did however fall in love with these: http://www.paulstuart.com/product_info_enlarge.cfm?Id=43213175TOB

I am probably going to pick them up tomorrow. What do you think?

agreed. in my part of the world this is tainted with the cliché of a used car salesman, insurance clerk etc., etc., though.
