i bought some levis at j.crew , and i've had held over uniqlo jeans from when i lived in japan.
i thing the levis are actually better.

i know its not SW&D respected since the price tag is so low, and the fact that they're just levis
but they're not bad

I have never destroyed a pair of jeans the way I've seen jeans destroyed in this and other jean threads. Not even my "lawn mowing/gardening" jeans, which are a 12 y/o pair of Gap widelegs is in such condition. Sure, I've never worn the same pair of jeans everyday for a long period of time, but nevertheless, I am baffled.

I too am surprised. I wonder how much wear is attributed to the tightness of the jeans commonly worn here, relative to, say, a pair of loose gap jeans worn for lawn mowing. I imagine the strain and friction is far greater when the fabric is more frequently in contact with the skin.

That's probably the trick.

Hmmm... We need a study to see if there's any causative effect between cock bulges and crotch blowouts.

The looser jeans wore out faster.
