Constructive ideas on improving the forum - Page 32

whatever happened to the feature where when you make a new thread and type in the title the forum automatically does a search for related threads and shows them to you? i liked that feature and really miss it, it was very useful.

I have a PM feature request - when assigning PM's to folders, and you receive a new one, the whole PM thread is moved into the inbox, thus necessitating you moving it back to the designated folder. Any chance we could have it where the PM will stay in the desired folder? Its kind of a pain in the ass if you have an ongoing conversation to keep moving it back every time a message comes in.

Not sure if this is in the system yet... but is there a way so that clicking 'View All' on 'View Recent Images in this Thread' gives you the list of pictures in reverse chronological?

For some reason, I cannot subscribe to threads that I create. I think I wind up having to post in the thread after creating the first post, if that makes sense. it says I am subscribed, but it doesn't show up in my subscriptions.

Get rid of the stupid thumb limits. Either that or make the timer not 24 hours. It's an incredibly stupid concept, and negates ANY utility a thumb system would have.

Well I seem to be restricted from posting on certain threads - perhaps this could be improved as I have read that a few others are experiencing the same issues...

Delete the account of anyone who creates a new thread in GC to introduce themselves instead of using the "Introduce Yourself" thread.

and also deleting the accounts of people who go around rudely and falsely accusing people of not using the introductions thread, who then go on to whinge about it being started by someone else than the person you accused?

I still say we could use some more sub forums. Outerwear, footwear, watches & such.

I'd like a mark all as read function for subscriptions on the mobile site.

Seconded! The men's clothing forum is really, really crowded. Could definitely be split up.

Not improving maybe but will throw this here anyway since I don't know where to post it.

What's this new albums that shows up now from nowhere?  It can't be deleted and now I have 85 albums from the start of SF...

And everytime a new thread gets started a new albums pops up. Some bug on the website?

Does anyone else have this problem or is it only me.

an idea here... I find many people's signatures, whether FS threads or random quotes and stuff distracting while scrolling... could we make a setting to turn off signatures from view?

sort of like the blocked member idea. or maybe a little "X" button where you can block sigs from a certain member. Sometimes I see the same items for sale and as I'm scrolling the WAYW thread I keep reading the same item listing over and over...

oh and another thing... I requested this feature from the original forum as soon as the new one came online and it disapeared... can we move the 'new posts' button out from under the 'forum' banner and just next to it on the main header?
