As much as I understand that some people might spam, I am also very sure that constitutes a minority and letting a small amount ruin it for the majority is idiocy. If the vetting period is only maybe 10minutes then fine, by all means. I've posted for over a day and still dont see any. By the time my posts appear (if they ever will), they'll probably be so outdated and it seems like in digging backwards in a thread to make a probably-pointless-by-then comment.

Wonderful system, whoever came up with it

I agree. It's a pain.

There is no rule. Sometimes new members just get caught up as a result of our overzealous spam filter, which is necessary (otherwise, pretty much every second post would be a Chinese spammer.) Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to have someone constantly on the mod queue. It's a volunteer position, and we just can't ask people to be constantly on call, 24/7.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the mods do get through the queue.

Lately (besides the spam), I've been seeing a lot of double/triple posts. Maybe flood control of some sort?

I agree totally - we are getting quadruple and quintuple thread posts now which take up the entire front page of some forums. Is there no way, the board software will allow for a 'no posting for ten (or whatever) seconds after your last post' type of system?

It seems odd that in the Men's Clothing Classifieds that under the Categories pull down menu, "Underwear" is an option, but not "Ties". There seems to be far more listings for ties, and searching for them under "accessories" is clumsy. Sorry if someone has suggested this before.

Hello, this is my 1st post to this forum. However, I have been a member of several other forums for several years. I haven't read through this entire post but all of the forums that I belong to have local geographic forum sections. Has this subject already been discussed?

Mobile version is great. Would allowing users to hide pictures and gifs be feasible? Would help with load times, data usage and then if we wanted to see a pic we could just click on the placeholder to load it.

I have a suggestion, how about ordering the "Recent Images in This Thread" from latest to oldest when clicking "View All?" I usually just want to see photos that I might have missed recently instead of having to scroll all the way down to see the latest photos added. Hope I'm not alone in this. smile.gif

Still using tapatalk for browsing.

Is there an app in the works?

Can we get an option to remove 'recent images' in this thread? The threads I follow I already see the images I want to, really adds nothing for me.

Kudos to the team that developed the mobile version. Prior to today, I don't remember the last time I browsed the forum on my phone (whether through Safari or Tapatalk). Horrid no more!
