I ask because when I am shopping, I do check the mega threads once, but I do not need to look through them daily. Since they are bumped every day, they take up the space the smaller listings could use, the ones that change often. I can still check on the power seller stuff (and I do, I have bought several items from the "power sellers" )
On the selling side... I listed an Isaia SC last week. I had one comment right away, but the thread was soon moved to the second page by the bump-per-day crowd, which is fine. But I had almost no looks once it was bumped off. Within 30 minutes of bumping the thread one week later, I had two offers. Sure, it would have sold sooner had I bought the selling package, but it is not worth it when I list one item per month on average.
I still love that we can sell stuff here, I appreciate the work SF does! But I know my buying and selling experience would be much better if we didn't cater so much to the "mega threads" and "power sellers."
I am of course biased since I like buying from the igent who is cleaning out his closet, or selling an item he no longer wears. But isn't that why most of us are in the B/S?
Regardless of the changes, I still love SF!
