Was there that much of an issue? In any case, FS:Other would be a welcome place for these types of classifieds. I think that because of the new system. conversations on such threads will not create the problem they had before. What do you think?

Yes it was a problem Fok. What, do you think I just sit around, looking for forum topics to consolidate for no good reason?

I think that you're in charge and I'm not. Tell me what you want done and I'll do it. They topics themselves are dying in their respective forums now. They need to be moved or restarted.

If you restart them as 1 big thread, how will people be able to leave feedback for anybody other than the OP?

No offense was meant, Rambo. Yes, I'm in charge (weel, me and j), but the members make the community. We do ultimately have to make the decisions, but your contributions and suggestions are valued. In the feedback system, you can't actually leave feedback for anyone other than the OP. That was a feature implemented so that there was some sort of accountability, and I think that the benefits far outweigh the negatives. I'll think about it. With the non-bumping feature, and the ability to subset, the problems that were there previously may be alleviated. That's what I'm trying to gauge, and your help and that of others that use those threads would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Fok.

No, you cannot. Enjoy your Loft bargains.

Well, admittedly it was kind of a dumb question. Ok, so the one big thread idea is out. Then, I suggest locking the threads and I'll post notices in each one that people should put up individual threads. This way they can be in FS:Other where they will get seen and utilized. Let me know if that's what you want to do and I'll go spread the gospel.

The review section finally started working for me. I did a good 25 reviews in the two hours. I might do some more later.
Besides giving knowledge to other SF members does the reviews help the site in any other way?

Edit- Also, IIRC there was a prize for writing a certain # of reviews. Is that still going on?

Fifty page maximum thread length for the CEsspool. Honestly, 95% of the content after the first 25 pp. is the same people caring way too much about the problems of the world, at least until 5:00pm EST. It just devolves into a slapfight.

50 pages? Set yourself to 100 post per page.

It also helps noobs. In some cases, it can drive traffic to affiliates.

Yeah, oneeightysix won that, but I'm going to say that that we'll give prizes to anyone who can hit 30 reviews, and then 50 reviews, and so on. Speaking of which, we need a name for said member. I am thinking "really wants love", but am open to suggestions.

Cheers,

Fok.

I doubt I have info on 20 more though. There isn't many MC clothing items in the reviews section.

here's a cool feature idea, along the lines of showing 'my posts', often I'm just scrolling down to see who's responded to me / quoted me, so how about a button that says 'show quoted', which would basically show me posts where people have quoted me, ie the counterpart to the 'my posts' button

lolwtf nm.

Does this post show up half broken? I'm guessing it's because Huddler's software isn't converting less than signs into < instead of the actual Unicode character, but it's about 50% that it does/doesn't show up for me.
