Sorry, yes different thing. I meant a Preview button so you can see what you're about to send, like when you make a post (when you have the option to click the Preview button before you actually post something via the Submit button).

hey, what about a wiki page for specific threads like how slickdeals works?

each fashion thread could have a wiki page beneath the op that would include sizing issues, availability in shops, new arrivals, sales, etc

sales threads could have a wiki that ppl update

cuz i dont think anybody ever checks the sf wiki simply because it never crosses their mind

I was just about to post about this...

a now missing feature that's very useful. When I send a PM, and ALSO in the B&S when making a listing, there used to be an option to "PREVIEW" the post before sending...
now I have to just make the listing, hope all the formatting works, and then do edits. or in PM's I sometimes have to send another PM to make a correction...

I think you'll notice that many people are using the LIKE button as a simple COMMENT button instead of requoting. Here's a suggestion, change it from 'like' to 'mini comment' or something. maybe even something like a 'tweet' or whatever, ie a short point.

wha? i like the like button the way it is. please don't change it.

I've been flagging spammers' posts whenever I find them. I understand this means a moderator gets to check those posts and take action, but I think if enough people flag spam posts there could be some sort of automated heuristic (poster has less than x posts, post contains a link, etc.) to automatically filter/flag and delete them.

Please take a look to your left, and notice the similarities between the proposed and the new. Also, note, 100x100, and no more padding. Sorry Rambo, we love you, but not long time. We are working on a host of other stuff in improve performance, navigation, etc... Hope you like it.

I have yet to see a banner with Adblock installed. Of course, I don't visit the front page, so if its there please disregard this post.

Signatures still suck. They take up too much room and the addition of quotes from other members still looks ridiculous.
I noticed you guys fixed the signatures, good job. The centre script I put was really bothering me that it wasn't actually centred. But this fix seems to have created another problem: I noticed now, on mobile safari, posts are now mixed up with the signatures rendering them unreadable.

What the hell is going on over there at the Huddle design department? Do these people just hate efficient design? I mean, just look at this shit:

219

This is the reply screen on my 15" laptop. I now actually have to scroll down to be able to reply to a fucking post! Can you understand how frustrating that makes the forum to use? What the fuck are they doing with all this god damn light blue space? Its everywhere!

Also, that new quote at the top thing is a bit idiotic. What was wrong with the inline quotes the way they were?

When you nav. back in the classifieds it takes you to the top of the page, where you have to read all the rules again. It'd be nice if you could go back to the place on the page where you last were.
Also, if you are searching by category and you back nav. you get a screen for all items for a sec, then it "thinks" and brings up your category. Better than it was before but it would be nice if it was more seamless (this is more a tech. diff.problem).

Sorry to beat this horse, but sizing for items will make B&S about a million times more useful. Please do include width for shoes when this fix is made. Please.

The B&S archive has full size titles for all the sub-forums (SW&D, MC, ect.) while the active one is much smaller, I'd think you would want to make the archive the same format as the current B&S so it does not over power it in size. Also it takes up a lot of screen space for a dead sub-forum.

I'll add my voice to those that think the links to reviews and activity at the bottom of the page is a waste of space.

The changes to "my profile" more closely duplicate the old "my posts" and is a nice improvement but could it get it's own drop down menu in the top bar?

Thanks.
