Is there a way to only display listings from one, or a select number of, countries?

99.99% sure the answer is no. I can only make this assumption due to the fact there is no place to put the country of origin into the listing, hence no way for you to search for only a select number of countries.

Brianpore and other B&S gurus --

Is there a way to switch B&S subforums once you create a listing? I inadvertently posted a listing to the general B&S thread, but it belongs in SW&D. Or do I need to delete that listing and create a new one?

In a related question -- and apologies if this is staring me in the face in the FAQs -- what's the best way to post a listing to multiple subforums at once?

Apologies for noob questions, but I'm planning to sell a bunch of stuff in advance of moving and want to get housekeeping out of the way.

Thanks, Peter

Peter, I do not believe you can switch subfourms once psoted. Just open a new classified up, copy/past and your all set. Also, dont know if there is anyway to post a listing to multiple subforums (pretty sure there isnt), as each item should really one pertain to one subforum to start with, no?

I thought at first it might be a 15 day version of the (3 day) 2 day bumper but it works out more expensive.

Any ideas?

There seems to be a glitch in the system. Unfortunately our people are out until tomorrow. I'll get it fixed ASAP, and make sure that people get their money's worth, or their money back.

Cheers,

Fok.

Whoah, does this look right to you guys? This poster received negative feedback -- his first feedback of any kind -- for a transaction that didn't even take place.

Granted, it sucks when someone expresses interest in buying something, only to fade into the ether, but to doom their entire B&S prospects just seems inordinately shitty.

If there was not a transaction then the person who left the feedback violated the feedback rules. He had to have stated that he was the seller and the other guy was the buyer and then checked the box which states I certify that all of the information I have entered here is correct and complete. If there was no transaction then he certified a falsehood.

+1 That "seller" should get a stern warning also. That's pretty f'd up. Everyone who sells know people flake. Part of doing business. Even worse when they win your damn auctions. At least you dont have seller fee's tied up.

Lets see how this goes.... http://www.styleforum.net/t/291306/done-thanks/0_50#post_5266501

I am not an admin.

You leave feedback for transactions. There was no transaction.

To be clear, if you guys are admins and are requesting that I remove the feedback, I'll be happy to, but if you don't mind, I'd like to explain my reasoning. First off, here's our (admittedly one-sided) conversation.

I'm going to drop your shirts off at the FedEx store after work if you don't mind sending payment. Cheers.

The shirts are packed and ready to go. Do you still want them? I've turned down others. Please reply.

No communication huh?
Generally speaking, I think that's pretty polite communication. Furthermore, I only sent messages when I saw that the buyer was either online or had been online recently. As I'm sure you know, the forum has a tool that tells you that. I always gave time to reply, and was never pushy or mean about it. The fact is, I did turn down other offers (perhaps naively?), and all I was looking for was confirmation as to whether the user did or did not want the items. If he said that he changed his mind, didn't have the cash, or was drunk at the time, I absolutely would have been fine with that. This forum is full of impulse buyers (I'm guilty of that personally) and sometimes we change our minds. I don't necessarily think you should be punished for that.
My actual negative feedback was in regards to the fact that he chose not to reply. And I wrote that. I feel like that information is valuable if you are considering exchanging money with someone you haven't personally met.
That's my two cents. If you'd like me to take it down, or think my reasoning is bad, I will remove the feedback. Thanks.

Your breaking the B&S forum rules by leaving feedback in a transaction that never took place. It's that simple.

A couple very clear rules that some members seem to be struggling with:

You may list multiple items in a listing, as long as they are all from the same category (e.g., one listing with multiple different ties).

Please do not delete any information, including images or selling price, at any time, including when you close your thread. Simply choose “close thread”. If you have a multi-item listing, please merely put a highly visible “SOLD” beside the sold item.
