It's a pain when it just shows you a list ot possible threads, no pics, no way to order the results chronologically, does not specify whether the thread results are closed/open classifieds etc etc etc.
Thanks.

You can choose to list by newest updated or newest linted, and you can opt to look at only open or only closed listings. It's all there.

LA Guy, I want to make sure I understand what you mean correctly.

I go to a B/S Forum (Men's clothing., SW&D etc), I go to the "search this forum" function,
I type in say...a brand (Rogues Gallery) and I hit enter..

All that comes up are a list of posts/threads (depending on what I wanted searched), that I can arrange by recency or relevance, but I'm still getting closed and open threads.

I understand that you have "Filters" up that help me sort categories(Footwear, Bags etc) and classifieds (open, closed), but I still am not seeing the search function you described above.

I apologize for my ineptitude, please sort me out?
Thanks.

+1 Not sure how to get rid of the closed threads when you search. Looked in the advanced search options also but nada.

Guys,
Every time i try and launch a FS thread, it just doesn't process. Any ideas?
I've listed FS threads before and not had issues and seem to be following all the rules.
Cheers

Stupid question, but how do I close my B&S thread? I can't find the "close thread" button.

Not a mod, but just an educated guess.... Looks like you joined (by your first post) on 11/22/11. As per the B&S rules you have to wait 45 days to post unless you buy a premium account. Doing some quick math;

8 days in November

31 days in December

5 days in January

44 days total as a member (if you did join 11/22/11 per your first post). Give it another day or two imo

That does let me edit the body of the thread, but not the title or the picture (which I like to change to spice up the listings). when you go into "edit details" at the top, and then try to edit the post it still gives you the error message in regards to the 100,000 characters.

Thanks for the help with this, I do understand that there are only a handful of people who would find this to be  troublesome with very large posts I just happen to be one of them.

Just an FYI. This 100,000 character limit is still an issue. I can edit my posts, but can not edit the title which is a little bit of a pain when I have something like "new items added 12/7" and now we are at 1/5... dont know how hard it is to bump up the character limit to say....1,000,000?

This should have been changed months ago. I know that the crew is still recovering from holidays, but this might have gotten reverted by mistake with the latest round of upgrades. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Does the new software allow for the same functionality that fitisking.com had? I loved being able to search for a particular shoe size, or shoulder measurement for a jacket. Now I have to painfully scroll through pages of stuff I don't want to see (e.g. crap) to check for stuff in my size - and that's just for shoes. Some sellers don't even list measurements for jackets and pants.

is there anyway we can resurrect the proxy thread in the archive section?  I would love to have something proxy for me.  There is no way that I can post on the b&s forum or find a way to post to a relevant proxy thread.
