If we're going back to using image hosting sites to plug images into our threads, can we please get back the image button?

You are welcome. It took me a minute to figure it too the first time... so here is a suggestion: would it be possible to get rid of the "edit this post" button on the opening post of a classifield? Not that much of a bother but it seems useless and can actually lead to confusion.

+1 to this too. I don't know about american keyboards but I don't have these " [ ] " characters on mine...

Are you using the BB editor? There is an "image" button on the taskbar.

Fok, this might be a technical issue as all the taskbars are not the same (at least for me in Firefox 5.0). Here are screen shots of the 4 different times I would be using the status bar in the B&S system. As you can see when you post a new add and when you edit an add by clicking on "edit details" a bunch of the icons are missing.

 

 

1) Posting a New Add in the B&S

2) Replying to a post in the B&S

3) Editing a B&S post you made by clicking on the "Edit Icon" on the very bottom of your post

Apologies. I just checked on Firefox 5, and there is no "image" tag. However, there is a general "code" button (it looks like a piece of paper, and is right of the indent button. You should be able to modify that to give you the img tags. Note, you can still use the photouploader, and are in fact, encouraged to do so if you want a preview of any sort.

Edit: Okay, your BB editor on Firefox 5.o .ooks considerably different than does mine. However, you can use "indent" etc... to get the square brackets, if that if your main issue.

Why when you press the search button (say footwear) then access an ad and then read it and want to return back to Footwear base camp does it revert to General B&S? And you then have to play back and forth to get the page Footwear and then you don't get the page you are on but find it has reverted to the original Footwear page?

Because there is a bug/glitch in the navigation It should be fixed within 2 weeks. Sorry about that. I thought that it would be an easy fix, but apparently, more complicated than in looks. And then it needs to go through QA.

I know I have asked this before, but am still confused. Where do I find a listing of my classifides (open and/or closed). I can not seem to find a link to a page that will just list my classifieds and not every post I started or every post I replied to, but only my B&S classified listings?

 

A benefit would be if this page also said how much time left before I can bump the listing (so I didnt have to open each one up and check) and also be able to open and close them from this page that would be even better, BUT I just want to find the page to start with. Thanks!!

Currently this is not an easy link in your profile or anything, but for you:

Also, be aware that the results are not immediately updated and you may not see recently created threads for a bit while the system indexes them.

J, thanks, I bookmakred that page! Took a min to throw together a photoshop of what i was talking about, condensed on one page with the "bump" and "close listing". I know it is a lot more work to get it to work, but just an idea as it would be nice not to have to go into each listing to close or bump the items, etc. Also included a screenshot of what craigslist uses so someone can manage all of their postings easily (not fancy, but gets the job done very well)
