I have Styleforum white listed in Adblock, so I see those borders as indochino ads. one click and you are referred to their blackfriday promo. Now when I enable adblock I get those charcoal borders, too. The bit.ly URL shortener might have to do something with indochino getting information from which address the referrals came.
When I viewed SF using IE9 with no AdBlock, it was still just the black border. I didn't know what the bit.ly thing was. Nothing to worry about then, thanks.
The border seems to have gone now.
