Same here. Some of my "reply" via PM works, sometimes they don't. Most of the time I have create a new PM to the same user to get the message across.

More PM issues. I'm having PM's I sent never show up, and I'm having PM's from other members that they swear they sent never show up either.

Honestly, between this and the photos usually stuck on a spinning circle - no other browse method works right now, and the spinning circle method more than sucks, it sucks MAJORLY - it's like the site actively wants to drive B&S traffic away!


Then again, we shouldn't eliminate the possibility that that may actually be the case...

Yep, same here. It only happens on some listings. Others are OK. I tried refreshing the page to no avail.

Yep, same for me. PM function was busted yesterday for a few hours, system wouldn't send them.

In addition, page load times for pics posted using the in-built system in Classifieds is ridiculous. If a thread starter doesn't post IMG links that make the actual picture appear in the body of a thread, I simply navigate away. I can't be bothered to click on the thumbnail near the sig and then sit there trying to scroll through the pics using that viewer window that pops up. It takes way too long to look at 5 pics that way. It's unreal that so many sellers haven't figured this out yet.

Mods are usually responsive in here but not lately.

Exactly. I'm an old-school B&S'er who, as a buyer, has determined that the image browsing side is just bad. So bad that, since I can no longer ctrl-click to bring up pics individually in their own tabs and I am -not- going to sit through the built in image browsing, I either skip ads without inline pics entirely or, if I am really interested, I've taken to bringing up the ad page in multiple tabs and clicking one pic per tab with the built-in viewer. By the time I get the last pic in the last tab clicked, I can tab back through all of them and see the pics side by side. If I'm going through this headache to view stuff, I bet the average user is just giving up (like I'm starting to on stuff I only may be interested in, but it's just too much of a hassle).

As a seller who only recently posted on new B&S, I made a point of putting all my pics inline. The downside for B&S (and what I think part of the revamp was trying to achieve) is that they no longer capture those pics for the future (once I close the ad, I'll invariably delete my hosted pics at some future point).

PM issues for me as well.
Many are not going through. Screen just kind of flashes, text disappears. So you might think it was sent but actually was not.

Even PMs I thought I sent a few days ago I'm discovering were never sent.

can't reply to pm from android phone and only via firefox on imac

Two issues - If you load the main page, or the main forum page, and click on the new PM notification box that pops up, it won't let you go back to the forum or main page.

Also, getting PM messages to load to the last read message. Its really a pain in the ass with these long PM convo's.

PM issue seems to have been resolved with osx/ chrome. cheers
