The Saxxon material adds $200 to the price of an 1818 suit. It is a very rich fabric. Flat front pants and a nice price. This shouldn't last long.

Apologies ahead of time for dumb questions.  But how would a 36R Madison compare to a 38R Fitz? I have Fitz's in 38R that I would prefer to be a tad shorter, but the 30-waist on a 36R Madison bothers me.  Also, I wonder how the cut on a 36R would be (I prefer slimmer, between Milano and Fitz).  Would sizing down to 36 make for a slimmer (and shorter) fit, or just look awkward?
