I'd been using the leather version of this: https://www.all-ett.com/id-card-case_30401.html

But I'll probably get one of those Saddleback Leather jobbies at some point in the near future. I'm looking at maybe seven cards (ID, ATM card, credit card, corporate credit card, DC metro card, insurance cards) and some cash. Not sure whether all of that would fit in the simple wallet, but that would be ideal.

There is a thread on this with some flicks...but I will play around:
I use a billfold and moneyclip.
When I know that I am just ehading to my local bar, etc. I just add my license and bank card/Amex to my money clip and leave the rest of the wallet home.

I basically use the slimmest bifold I can find. Debit card, 2 CCs, drivers license and some bills.

I have a money clip but I prefer the security of a wallet. Less awkward to handle too, since the chances of me leaving home without CCs and drivers license are minimal, and cramming that into a money clip seems like a pain.

This. I normally drop the debit card though, you never really need cash unless you are engaging in certain activities.

Money clip when going out with a CC, $20 for a cab and my ID.

Like buying drinks at a bar when you don't want to wait 20 min to bring back your card?

Do most of you guys keep card cases in your front pockets? I'm in need of a wallet upgrade.

Not sure about you but I've never really had to wait that long in most cases. I'd gladly wait 20 minutes once in a while vs carrying extra cash.

Opening a tab @ the bar/club is a good way to add a nasty surprise to your hangover the next morning.

Well I either buy one or two drinks or chip in for a table instead of opening a tab. Never had issues this way.

I have both but I switch it up a lot.

In a crowded club where I'm not at a table, the wait can seem like forever. Waving cash at the bartender gets their attention a lot quicker than plastic.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if you don't carry cash. In Miami, we carry cash wink.gif

I just switched from a bi-fold to a card case that I made. This is my copy of the chester mox that I have seen online. This is my first proto-type before I make a better one, but it turned out pretty well minus the mongloid stitching and not so straight cuts. Look forward to making another with better, straighter, more consistent stitching. After making this I really appreciate the skills of those that are making leather goods.
sorry for the crappy cell phone pics
