Clams Casino - I'm God

hands down the best song i've heard this year so far

edit FUCK YOU EMBEDDING
I think anything will sound like the best song you've heard this year when you take out the "vocal" (and I use that term very, very loosely). uhoh.gif

Why does it feel like 90% of all hip-hop these days is such a fucking obscenity? Listen to the train-wreck of inane filth spewing outta this guy's mouth. Even his voice sounds awful.

Horrible, just horrible.

That's more like it.

I've actually got a couple of his prog. house tracks. Definitely has "that Greek sound" to it.

Alright, quick post, then I gotta run.

Dusted this track off from '97. Some proto High Contrast sounding DnB off the long defunct Sm:)e Communications label. This track was practically a 6 AM just-coming-back-from-the-party ritual that was played in the car as the sun was coming up. You were exhausted from dancing for 8 hours and smelled like a combination of dry ice from a smoke machine and weed. Memories. Hope you like it:

Thanks. Check out a compilation called Nu York - Nu Skool. It's where I first heard it and the comp has got some other great mid 90's DnB cuts on there (particularly the first four tracks).

Anyway, so I just got back from seeing Drive and was just blown away by everything about it - including the soundtrack. Go see it now, you won't regret it.
