Hey...

  Guys i just want to know how many glass of water is good to drink daily...??

I drink 3 litres, don't know what that is in glasses.

IIRC, 2 liters = 8x8-ounce cups.

But the whole... you have to drink 8x8 on a daily basis is also a myth that's perpetuated. You'd be surprised by the amount of water you can get from your diet alone (especially if you eat a healthy amount of veggies). And even though coffee (and to a lesser extent, tea) is a diuretic, you are still getting water.

I personally carry a liter bottle with me everywhere so I drink 3 liters on average, but I certainly don't have to drink that much.

Its all BS everyones requirements vary depending on energy expended and height weight and diet just drink until your body tells you to stop and the eight a day is far above what healthy kidneys can process

Wrong. Healthy kidneys are capable of processing much more than that.

Drinking more just dilutes minerals out of your blood the chinese know about this stuff just do some research and the answers to the water debate will blow you out of the water.

The "8 glasses a day" is supposed to include water you get from food...so you probably don't need to actually drink 8 glasses.

The amount varies greatly between people, how active you are, the weather, etc.

Drink enough so you aren't thirsty is probably a good standard. Use common sense and drink a bit extra if its hot out or you are exercising a lot.

I drink close to a gallon a day. when I am traveling I drink from a 1 liter bottle, and try to drink one per every 4 hours I am on a plane.

Just make to keep your electrolytes in balance if you sweat heavily. Hyponatremia is surprisingly crappy.

i've heard different from gym trainers, health nuts, and books. most people don't realize how much water you lose a day, sweating, breathing, using the toilet, going number 1 and number 2. its important to replenish though's fluids. i've also heard drinking to much water is bad for you too. But im a big soda drinker so all water i drink is beneficial to me..

your weight/2 in oz.

example; you weigh 200lbs so you'll drink 100oz water/day. wait...i think that's protein. shog[1].gif

for water it's eight eight ounce glasses a day (so 64oz) minimum. if you want to drink more and have to pee every hour then go for it. a good indicator that you're hydrated is clear pee. if it's yellow and smells then you're definitely dehydrated.

Ditto. Also remember to keep a balanced electrolytes. Especially a balanced Potassium/Salt intake. Most people take in too little potassium and too much salt in their diet.
