I agree completely. They do an exhibition here in OKC and bring their editions from various artists. Turned my head around as well. A true group of artisans, very dedicated to both preserving the craft and breaking into new territory.

Also, some artists are really great printmakers who take the time and interest to be great at it. Others just do it once in awhile and the work is so-so. Off the top of my head, some artists who are truly excellent in this medium are Jasper Johns (duh), Ed Ruscha, Ellsworth Kelly and John Baldessari. I actually think that some of Baldessari's prints are better than his "paintings".
