If the two teams were Canadian, I think as a dual nation league, they'd play both. Most of the players are Canadian and the game is marketed in Canada as well. I think a great game would be Boston Montreal in Montreal.

As far as the game, I don't know what the hell game these guys are watching when they talk about the ice being great. The puck is dragging incredibly. Stralman had to wait for a rolling puck in the zone, it stuck on Callahan's breakaway (even the pass was a dragging pass of the boards that enabled it, had that been done inside, its an easy icing). Hank looks awesome. Would like to see some more offense from the Rangers, we seemed to just be counter attacking after the first shift.

Ice looks REALLY bad now towards the middle and end of periods. Torts is smart getting grinders out there, no smooth skating/passing at all. Hence not much Gaborik/Richards and NO Jagr. Real slow and ugly hockey.

As far as the announcers "raving" about the ice, I'm sure its an old boys club thing. They're probably very friendly with Mike Craig, and I'm sure the guy worked really hard on the ice, but I guess somethings aren't meant for the outside. Not ice hockey itself, as yes it was born outside, but the professional game today of speed, finesse and power with high skill guys just ain't cuttin' it for me.

WOW Maybe I'm being a little partial, but between the call on McDonaugh, the non call on Gaborik's breakaway, the call on Callahan, and then the penalty shot, looks like the league tried to do everything to give the Flyers this game. Awesome third period.

Watching this game makes me appreciate the "new" NHL because it seemed like there was a lot of hooking, holding and generally slow down play.

I really wanted a goal on that penalty shot just to see it go into OT and potentially a shootout. Being a goalie, I do like Lundy quite a bit, though.

Ottawa with 3 OT wins in a row. I love that the game is never out of reach when down by few couple goals. Big change from previous Sens teams.

MSG network taken off NYC's largest cable provider, Time Warner. No Rangers for me. First priced out of season tickets, now MSG is holding my money hostage again by asking my cable company to pay a 53% price increase. I can't even switch providers in my neighborhood, no other providers available. Eff you Madison Square Garden and Cablevision (who owns MSG).
