And vulgarity shouldn't be confused with wit. Especially from a 50-year-old man. I'm sort of disappointed that "f***k off" is the best he can come up with. iMO he had a moment to make an impact but he's blowing it. I sincerely hope his WWM collection sells b/c I think it's great.

what does his age have to do with the customer base he is designing for? I would rather the "Fuck off" be placed in the shoe so it is visible before putting it on or right above the heel so it wouldn't fade. Currently it is going to be wiped from the shoe in a week with casual wear.

I own a pair of his red brick soled, navy bucks. I can say, apart from the fact that the sole rim is a little wide, he makes a good shoe. Maybe a little overpriced, seeing as you can get some Loakes, etc, in the same price range, and they are far better made. I would recommend his stuff, if you like it... The camo bag with the flowers is quite cool...

But yeah, the fuck are these?

Looks like someone dipped some bluchers in poo and called it a day.

Loake vs. McNairy/Sanders quality is up for debate. Loake has several levels of make that run from worse than McNairy's to, arguably, better.

Also, the shoes below have the thicker crepe sole common to "playboy" boots, although you're more likely to see a chukka version than McNairy's blucher take. They've enjoyed a recent resurgence thanks to McQueenophilia.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I'd take the Loake 1880 line over McNairy, personally.

Seems McNairy's at his best when he isn't trying too hard to be innovative or clever.

I don't know. His Spring 2012 line (clothing included) is pretty hot.

As usual Shoreman is right. The "playboy" is actually kinda classic and it looks quite good when worn right. I remember having a vintage pair with brogueing that I found thrifting when I was 18 or so. They were comfortable and hard wearing.

What I dislike about McNairy (ie Sanders) is the use of horrible leathers - corrected grain and patent leathers. And secondly the sole they use is not hard wearing at all.

But I think he is quite creative when it comes to pushing the boundaries for the typical, classic English shoes.

The blue suede wholecuts are now on my list, blue suede always kills it.

Nice double monks, hope to see them in various leathers

I disagree, in my opinion Mcnairy/Sanders are comparable to 1880 line in quality and materials, perhaps even better.
I have two Sanders and two Loake 1880.

Sanders have also much more beautiful lasts and proportions.
