my girlfriend is trying to take some pictures of clothing/items to sell and is trying to a figure out a DIY indoor lighting setup. she's very new to photography and is just using a nikon d50. the clothing will be shot on a model, and the space is about 10 by 8. she's going to have two fluorescent lights and some kind of diffuser (strobes are too expensive and doesn't know how to use them anyway) and she's having trouble figuring out how powerful the lights need to be - in terms of wattage/lumens. does anyone have any recommendations/insights? the cheaper the better!

I have a similiar question....I have a canon T2I and I do very well with outdoor shooting...but I want to get into newborn shoots and I have to do some indoor shots because of it being too cold here for outdoor shooting during the winter. I was looking at these...does anyone know if these are gonna help or not do anything for me...I know NOTHING about indoor lighting. i was also thinking of getting a reflector board with the 5 diff shades on it. Any info would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!
