I need some help determining the size of these Red Wing boots

I bought these NOS Red Wngs a while back, they were advertised as a size 11, but I can't even begin to get my size 11D foot inside them.

I was hoping to resell them but cannot find a size marking anywhere on the boot.

Does anyone know where (if anywhere) the size might be marked?

or, when measured from the bottom of the sole, the boot is 11 7/8" long and 4 1/8" to 4 1/4" at the widest point
any ideas roughly what size this translates to?
