This is sad news. Given the photo of the casket on his blog, I'm feeling that it was indeed KB who died. May he rest in peace. :(

I also think it was KB.

He was in the military and knew us all well.

What do internet forums clothing gentlemen like?

Bespoke clothing, English shoes, Allen Edmond and Alden shoes, close fitting cloths, groupthink, itchy-scratchy wool, brown shoes, grandpa shoes, flame wars, snark, Savile Row fashion, floating canvas lined coats, proper attire, matching clothes, Conservative Business Dress, player hate, light suit padding, buying at deep discount, personality cult, cufflinks, pocket squares, tweeds, shell cordovan shoes, smiley icons, etc.

Some of you guys couldn't buy, or sell, class if it took you all your life.

And this is a forum apparently dedicated to style.

^ This.
Ive messaged the contact on his blogspot offering my condolences and asked to clarify who it was. My guess is the female in the pics is his daughter, and she was the one who actually did the uploading and forum posts for him.
I hate to be forward at a time like this, as I really genuinely feel bad - as KB was a forum staple when I first started posting and as you can see I started this thread a long time ago wondering about him.... but I am DYING to know what is going to happen to his wardrobe. I would do anything to have the chance to sell it...

Spoo—show some respect. Your question not meant as a jumping off point—if it were, you'd start a different thread. You're not intellectually concerned about what happens to a wardrobe after passing because as people who have inherited, we all know. Just because you apologise first, doesn't make it okay, and doesn't make it so you can speak with impunity.

He didn't say that he asked them if he could sell the stuff. He was just thinking out loud that it would be a great estate to acquire. No different than an art collector getting excited about rare pieces going on the market because of a death.

I wonder what Spoo would say about Vox's wardrobe.

Absolutely untrue. Why would I start a different thread? Of course the first and foremost thing is I feel bad for his family. But it was a thought in my head that occurred, so I wrote it. Of course I am curious to what happens to a wardrobe that large.

Yeah but having no censor for whats appropriate to say and when is crass. I understand how the mind works, and as someone who has a predilection for thinking terrible thoughts at inappropriate times I've learned over time to keep that under control. That's all im saying. We don't even know if he's passed and you're already asking questions about his wardrobe.
