This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Excellent drummer, but probably more so back in the day.
Nowadays so many musicians are technically proficient at their instruments that it's harder for someone to stand out from the crowd.
Drum solos don't really do that much for me, no matter how proficient the drummer is.
But within the context of a full band sound, then yes, he has always been one of my favourites.
However, what's always impressed me more than his drumming is his role in Rush as the lyricist.
Thoughtful, insightful, intelligent.

Back in the late 70's-early 80's all the drum manufacturers would hand out posters with diagrams of the big-time rockers... our practice room was covered with the schematics for Neal's set along with all the other big time rock band's kits.
I'd still take Krupa or Rich etc for sheer artistry but Neil is inspiring... I'm on a rediscovery jag with Rush right now... Peart innovated the hell out of Rock drumming and set a course for many artists to come.
