There's some significant markdowns going on now. Also, the code INSIDERSONLY will yield an additional 20% off the entire order. Thinking of a sweater, maybe some jeans.
How slim are the regular fits (straight leg) and how slim are the slim fits?

the vintage slim is pretty slim, but not insanely skinny or anything- similar to W+H or UNIS. I stopped by the store near me today for the first time in a looong time and picked up a pair of the vintage slim cords (the jean cut ones). Size 30 measures 15.5 waist, 9.75 rise, 11 thigh, 7 leg opening... also - they seem to run shorter than tagged, my 30 inseam measures 29

I tried on a pair of the university cut cords (trouser cut) and they were noticeably more relaxed, but not baggy... a regular straight cut... maybe 8-8.5 leg opening on a 30 waist...?

Also, deals are better online than in store... no extra 20% off in store and not everything that's in the sale online is included in the stores...

I have a sweater dilemma: Grey or blue

http://www.rugby.com/shop/item.aspx?productId=11807484&categoryId=3755337&cp=3768060

I like the shaggy shetland patch sweater... Call me influenced by advertising, but the grey goes well with jeans, and the blue looks great with khakis. I wear both in more or less equal measure. I am ordering the khakis that the blue is pictured with anyway (vintage chino university pant; british taupe). Would grey sweater with british tapue khakis look too...bland?

Hmm. I think you're right. I bought the grey and a pair of the vintage slim miner jeans in 33 x 32. As luck would have it I found a pair of J Crew British Taupe khakis that I completely forgot about in the closet, so I saved $40 instead of buying the same damn thing (identical color and cut).

Rugby is price as marked plus INSIDERONLY for 20% additional off. All sizes under L were all gone on the stuff I wanted, they really should have had a private sale as well :fu:

I don't really remember a private sale? I know they would do them in stores but not online

Do Rugby sweaters fit TTS?

I'm looking at the sizing chart and the measurements for "XS" seem sorta small

lol ...you believe a sizing chart? :rotflmao:

of course the xs isn't meant for a "30-32" chest. Depending on the piece an xs will fit a 34 to a 36.

I tried on a crewneck in xs the other day (i'm a 36 chest), and it fit me pretty slim... a hair smaller than jcrew sweaters in the same size. Cardigans seem to fit a bit more relaxed in the body than the pullovers IME.
