Final sale as well is causing some issues for me, haven't bought many of these Rugby pieces in years and don't think fit is the same.

Just completed check out. Was going to add the student code to this thread [which stacks for 15% off].

All in all not a bad sale.

Au revoir Rugby RL.

Got the purple cardigan a few weeks ago on sale and it's nice. definitely worth the price I paid.  Anyone have a bizrate or student code? Not sure what is up with the site, but I want to get a few things with the sale before they are gone.

I have the Rugby 14 wale cords and there is no need to size down. They come pretty slim.

just bit the bullet on a few items...kinda have a feeling they won't have deeper discounts than what they have currently

unless they have a new years sale

i'm afraid they'll send the remaining product to Polo outlets when they close up shop

hope the items work out since it's all final sale

Yeah I bought a few ocbds and accessories, I have a feeling there will be a deeper sale of a sort on some items

Thanks LBC... I was able to get them in khaki and navy

Also thanks for the code steven

Looks like Rugby might have overplayed its hand by adding "Final Sale" to this sale. ALOT of pieces are still left and the movement is no where as close to their Black Friday sale.

Final sale is understandable given that they are closing...but I reckon people will bite [given the sizing disparity in Rugby's clothes] if discounts are much deeper than current price levels.

I'm looking at my one Rugby BD shirt I have and it is one of the best OTR fitting shirts I've ever bought. Would easily pick up a few of those university oxfords, but just can't get past that logo. Anyone successfully remove the logo or the entire pocket? I know it would probably be a pretty cumbersome process. They're cheap but still, that's just more money I could put towards a Gitman or something, never tried one of them. Rugby does fit me awesome though.

If you pick up a seam ripper it'll make it a lot easier--removing the embroidery will still be difficult and time consuming (if not impossible) but removing the pocket should be a piece of cake, and if you do it right, you won't be able to tell the pocket was ever there.

Removing an embroided logo without leaving marks is nearly as impossible in an oxford cloth, removing the pocket with a seam ripper as suggested is really easy.

I have removed the rugby patch in my last chinos and I will surely remove the pockets of my just ordered shirt.

Yeah, thanks guys.

I've never removed a logo and wouldn't want to. Looks like it would just be a mess.

But I have pretty successfully removed a pocket on a RRL shirt. With any luck the Rugby one will be just as easy.

I agree, I was surprised just now to see so much inventory left, maybe a Christmas bonanza soon?

When will the price of this tweed vest go down?

What do you think?

^ I'm waiting the markdown too, honestly I don't understand the reason of that price, the herringbone vest was discounted to 60 $(before kicker or code) dollars if I remember correctly and went sold out quickly, the other models are now 77...

There are also other items that are still high considering the final sale.

I agree...maybe the prices will go down today.
