Well done guys

I really like the achilles mid.

The one pair I have is working very well with narrow cut pair of jeans.

Am I the only one feeling weird about the new editions.

I mean the point with CP is premium clean sneakers.

What is the point to "downgrade"? The tournament are already here for people looking for less expensive CPs.

I may sound a bit haughty but I had hoped the evisu x common projects made the point that cheap quality CPs was a stupid idea.

Anyone thinking of getting the derby shine dont hesitate and kop them---they are easily the most comfortable MC shoes i own (i have the burgandy and black).
Go with your achilles size - Tres Bien has them for the best price at the moment after vat is deducted.

Any chance to have pics with you wearing it?

How tall are they comparing to other high top CPs or other high top model?

I'm a 42 in Achilles so went the same with the derby and the fit is spot on.

you're talking about the crepe sole derbies right? they're super nice but don't really think a wedge sole is mc... tongue.gif

Thanks for the feedback! I'll see how they fit, might exchange them for a 44 if they're too big.

cp's are not that premium or high quality. in fact most of these luxury sneakers aside from lanvin or balenciaga aren't really that high quality.

i honestly didn't last more than 6 months in a pair of cp's.

honestly, I think you pay for the looks and not really the quality. I've had $20 shoes that last forever, but CPs which cost $200+ can only last half a year like you said. and that's because of the sole, it's not like they use some crazy sole, many designers use the same sole and they will all last the same time no matter which brand made the shoe. Sure, the leather might be "better" and stuff as the shoe gets more expensive but honestly once the sole wears out who cares about the leather lol

I have cp's that are 3+ years old and still have a lot of life left in the sole. how often do you wear the same pair of shoes in a week?

totally, my cp's started to tear in the heel area after 3 months of wear. don't get me wrong, they're great sneakers if you're looking for a sleek silhouette but they arent the holy grail. my nike sb dunks and $20 converse ox have lasted much longer than cp's and probably get more love than them. that is why im curious to know more about the new editions.

They all use the same sole from the same factory, some might be the thinner version and some are the thicker version. But yeah, if you wear CPs like beaters, then they will wear out like beaters, simple as that. More expensive =/= lasting longer
