Anyone have a Lexus IS 250 AWD?

My wife wants one of these and I am looking for some opinions. I like the idea of the AWD and it seemed like it was a well made car. I have been pushing for an A4 but she is looking for something that hopefully won't need many repairs, and when it does, it will be a little cheaper.

I would love to hear some stories if you have one of these cars.

I actually like them. I personally would prefer a RWD myself. But anyway, from what I've read at some Lexus boards, these cars are pretty much trouble free. Have never seen so few problems being discussed online as a about this car.

I had one of these for a few years (maybe an '07?). Never had any issues to speak of. Ran smoothly, nothing broke, lexus service was always excellent, etc.


My only complaint is that the 250 felt a little underpowered compared to the 350. Ie it was more on the comfy side than sporty side. The 'sport' mode made it feel like it should have been to begin with, but then consumption goes way up.

^Thanks for the comments! That's exactly what I am looking for. I want to know that there are not any reoccurring problems with this car. We are going for the 250 since my wife doesn't really care about power, and we really want AWD for our midwest winters.
