I've eaten at a Korean restaurant in L.A. that serves it. From what I recall, it tasted fine--a slightly firm white fish with a mild flavor. Not worth the risk of death or whatever.
Come to think of it, I was just talking to my friend's wife last night about how she and her dad would catch blowfish and they'd eat it. We were all drinking heavily, so I'm not 100% sure this was true.
