looking for a good, warm, lined hoodie (thermal or fleece)

that ISN'T ridiculously expensive or impossible to find without the internet like the ones mentioned here? I don't want to spend more than $100, either. I've got a wide variety of stores to my disposal here (central NJ), so most retailers shouldn't be a problem. thanks!

There are like 4 hoodie threads on the front page, man. They're everywhere. The best thing to do is just go into any decent streetwear store where you live, and if you don't have one of those, go to a big department store(barneys, nm, saks, etc...) or just look at some of tons of stores online listed in the thread that's stickied. Plus, people are giving advice in a ton of threads on here.

i have been searching for a while.. it's just that the main items that come up are the ones are the expensivo Loopwheeler and Spruce ones. I would love to get my hands on one of the Spruces, but I really can't spend the money.

and thanks, I didn't know american apparel had those. Last time I checked, they all looked thin and kind of flimsy.

Dont expect American Apparel to be warm, even the thermal lined hoodie's thin as hell. I don't know any hoodie that fits your category and cheap sorry

Forgot to mention Polo RL hoodie, I bought one for my ex and it's pretty warm and well constructed, not to too expensive either

I don't know. It's hard if you can't spend more than $100. You pretty much just have to layer better and get a thinner hoodie. It's not a huge deal to wear a thermal undershirt. Jcrews are alright, but not that much warmer than the AA thermal hoodie from what i've felt.

If you're going to get a JCrew/Banana/Gap type hoodie, just spend 20 bucks on an Old Navy hoodie and call it a day. The quality isn't much different among this class. Among those I've looked at, the ON hoodie is the best bang for the buck. Then save the rest of your money for a Spruce/Loopwheeler type hoodie.

^^Listen to this man. Don't buy a more expensive cheap hoodie. Buy Gap, old navy or uniqlo if you can and save the rest for a better one.

This isn't going to be a popular choice, but the Ezra Fitch and Ruehl hoodies I've seen have been warmer than anything I've tried on. Much warmer than Spruce or Ever.

MSRP on them will be over $100, but you could find them discounted without too much hassle.

I also have a Theory hoody. Great fit, slimmer than the slim fit Spruce, fleece lined and a Riri zipper to boot. $50 at Off 5th.

I bought a few of the AA hoodies tonight from yque.com Pretty decent deal at $25 each with free shipping if you buy two. I picked up navy and black ones just for layering.

Steve and Barry's has waffle lined full zip hoodies for something like $9. Solid colors, no cheesy pre-distressing, nice hood. They're not terribly slim but better than Old Navy, and if it's cold enough to wear a thick hoodie you probably don't mind a little bulk for layering. I picked one up as a tailgating throwaway and have been impressed for the price.

Old navy has a quilted piece that's OK if you're a bigger dude and you buy the size small.
