Yup. My respect for Michael hasn't diminished at all. Somewhat sad to see him tool around in the midfield but I think it doesn't bother me as he bored me to tears in 2002 and 2004. Anyway, the competition has moved on considerably in the three years he had been gone. He's no longer in a dominant team, several teams are on top of their game (McLaren, Ferrari and Redbull being winners, Mercedes, Force India, Sauber, Torro Rosso and Renault as mid fielders). The drivers are also a lot stronger too I think as you can see with Nico's performances against him. Tough environment to come back to three years out and well into your 40s.

Vettel is good at being out in front, but that is about it. He can def crack under pressure. (Montreal?!) I honestly can say I'm not the biggest fan of him. I haven't watched his championship season last year too in depth, so correct me if I'm wrong, but has he ever come from the middle of the field to win a race? Seems like he only has a chance when he's on pole.

Love Hamilton's ballsy style. Webber can flat out haul ass around a track, but never gets the good breaks Vettel always seems to get.

Vettel hasn't had to take as much risk as the other drivers, because he has usually been in front of the points race.

Which is really the correct if not anti-climatic way to do things.

Though speaking of other drivers other than the front runners. Kobayashi is one of the more exciting drivers in the field, though he's had a pretty quiet season. I hope he gets a better drive in future.

I actually think he will. He'll be in the Mercedes or maybe even a Ferrari at some point. He's really good. Shitty qualifier. He's a good replacement for Schumacher when he retires.

Paul Di Resta is being groomed for Schumacher's seat. And it looks like he'll deserve it as he's been outqualifying the much more experienced Adran Sutil. Sutil has been with Force India for a while, I'd like to see him moved on and a fresher face placed in his seat (Nico Hulkenberg would be good). I'd have said the same with Team Lotus but Jarno Trulli has upped his performances since getting revised power steering system in his car. :/

Anyone follow F1 related blogs? I find Jamesallenonf1.com and joesaward.wordpress.com to be the most informative. Even better than autosport.com
