Amy Winehouse Dead - Page 2

Unfortunately the sad news comes as no surprise. The number of people coming forward as her best friend is somewhat ironic.

I knew who she was but that's about it. Could not identify a single song.

A major talent. Drowned by her drinking and undone by drugs. Another cautionary tale we don't need. When she was in control she had a great voice and sound. Fantastic stage set and good musicians. A sad and tragic conclusion to a very troubled young person. From many accounts she was a very sweet person at heart. RIP, Miss Amy - you were great.

Poisoning of alcohol. A stinging effect experiencing asphyxia and confusion as the brain convulses epileptic on the trail of death.

What is sad, is that out of all the current drug addicts: Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Courtney Love, Lady GaGa, Amy Winehouse was easily the most naturally talented, so of course, she cashed out at 27.

I feel like we've just been watching a slow suicide and now that it's over realize that there was indeed absolutely nothing that could be done about it. How many people, professionals, and institutions do you think offered their services free of charge just to get her cured? She was not going to have any of that.

yeah but if you have people around you egging you on and denying the obvious then it is just a question of how soon will she die

Speaking about the star’s long-running addiction with drink and drugs, Mr Winehouse said: ‘Three years ago, Amy conquered her drug dependency, the doctors said it was impossible but she really did it. She was trying hard to deal with her drinking and had just completed three weeks of abstinence.
‘She said, ‘Dad I’ve had enough, I can’t stand the look on your and the family’s faces anymore.’

and her dear mum,
Quote:
Janis believed her daughter's death had been "only a matter of time" when they met just 24 hours earlier. "She seemed out of it," Janis said. "But her passing so suddenly still hasn't hit me."

When their visit was over, Winehouse said: "I love you, mum."

"They are the words I will always treasure," Janis now says. "I'm glad I saw her when I did."

There is a saying that the candle burns that burns twice as light, also burns out twice as quickly.. She a lot into those 27 years and will be missed.

Read something about her place being robbed following her death. Suggested that it was done by a friend or someone who had access to her place and that unreleased recordings, lyric books, and personal items were taken
