Altering a Plaid OCBD - is this possible?

Before barging in and posting this, I did look around first....but didn't find much. 

 

I've got a couple Ralph Custom Fit Oxford Button downs.  Fit is nice 'n slim from chest to waist, but the back is as blousy as Grammie's Sunday bests.  

 

Considering this has a plaid print, is it possible to get the back brought in without having the prints all over the place and not matching up?

You should be able to get it slimmed and darted without too much change. It should only be a line or two where the back comes together.
