Been reading this thread for quite some time and finally took the plunge. Ordered these boots on the Novello last, delivery due end of Nov

   yesterday's order pales in comparison to alexG  but this boot  in bitter chocolate brown shrunken calf like the chukka

   they won't be built on the screwdriver last tho.

 

   talked with Phillip and decided to have the boot made on the Novello.

   I think it will significantly improve on what may appear a bland boot and let the shrunken calf do the talking
