Stole the picture on the left from St Crispin but I think the 524 from Leffot is of a darker shade.  That's me with Phillip back when I ordered the pair (wearing them then).

Off topic: I think my suit drapes like sh*t from the strange angle of this picture.  I swear it fits much better (at least I think so).  Ahahaha!

EDIT: It's color 606.  I smartly figured that out from the box just now...

Thats in Riva last?  Or Chiseled?

Love your watches and shoes (who doesnt), but that's some Mr. Spiffy size tie knots.

However, once you get one you'll probably want another.

The advantage though is that they would keep me from buying another pair of Decos.

(which is not to say that I dislike my Decos in any way, shape, or form. In fact, I think I'm now going to wear them tomorrow.)

The knot in this picture is rather large, isn't it?  Half-Windsor + rather thick Stefano Ricci ties + general incompetence on my part.  I have since learned to tie tighter knots.

I think.  :)

Last is RIva.

Outstanding addition to your growing collection, Dan! I'll be seeing Phillip Carr at LeatherSoul BH this weekend so I'm in danger of doing more damage to my finances.

Great...is this the chiselled or sailor last? (does not look like classic.)

Thank you sir.

Well it would be a shame to go and not to buy anything. I can't wait to see which ones you chose. Good luck, I'm sure you'll chose well.

Thank you. I was afraid without actually trying them on the classic or chiseled these lasts might be to narrow for me. The sailor last which I already had was a bit snug. I think they turned out pretty good in the sailor.

...am I the only man on SF who hates this kiltie fad? I first saw them on Lino and thought that by now they'd be forgotten, but time and again I've been proven wrong.

Don't think there's such a fad ongoing comparing to flood skinny pants or tight short suits. Just a rare few picking up kiltes doesn't make it a fad. At least not on SF.

Maybe you are getting some of the impressions from tumblr.

Kilties are a fad?  Haven't they been around just this side of forever?  I sure don't hate 'em, even though they're not my particular style.  I kind of like seeing choices made by others that lie outside the confines of my personal preference.

dddrees - that kiltie / monk combo is seriously cool.

I'm not a fan personally, but I can see the appeal. Love the fact that there is such a model though, just for the sake of variety and diversity. smile.gif

Very well done Mr.Booth

...a gorgeous pair. It must have been hell to stretch that piece of horse's ass on such a contoured last. Just shows you how much skill the cordwainers at StC have.
