St. Crispin's Appreciation Thread - Page 42

My size is all over the place depending on the maker. I generally have gotten the best fit with my shoes being slightly snug when they are new. Not snug to the point of hurting, but close. They do stretch.

Looking for help with suggestions :

i'm considering this shoe but not quite sure of the orange back fill in the brogueing.

what other colors would work ?

i've also considered the same style in a different suede but wonder if it's trying to be 'dressier' but fails

Thanks.

Yes, my name and no, I'm not the first. I'd seen pictures of other shoes with chinese characters - though Will of Leathersoul had said that the guys at St C were afraid it wouldn't turn out well. They had to use smaller nails, but it turned out better than I expected.

It's faux reindeer calf and is on the chiselled last.

+1. Also very accommodating. Another reason St. C is my favourite maker.

Congrats! I suppose the faux reindeer calf is St.C equivalent to G&G's hatchgrain?

Yes, EG MTO was pretty poor by comparison.

I personally don't like anything about these.

I only have one pair so far, but a second pair is on it's way.

I also find this shoemaker to be my favorite as well.
