Very cool that you got this! I thought it would be nice to get a/some "in process photos" of the shoes being crafted. Not sure how many times I would look back at them but they cost nothing to take and send and it helps pass the time for the purchaser!

Looking forward to hear about the trial process!

It's certainly more exciting this way. It's really awesome to see the work in progress. I had the Armoury send them some pictures of a pair of Hiro Yanagimachi triple monks I had fallen in love with to see if St. Crispins could do something similar.  They said yes, but they didn't have a last that would go as tall as the Hiro's, so they wanted to double check if I approved of this pattern.

I actually quite like it, and this is cool because it's even more unique. :) At least until I post up the completed boots and everyone else jumps on the triple monk bandwagon.... :)

X-post from the Skoaktiebolaget thread

Details (Click to show)

With these i wanted to find a very subtile grain structured leather in a brown-red tone and in discussion

with Gabriel we ended up going with a leather called TCK039. Not sure if still available still but mine

+ another MTO made it in the last round posted by Oliver some day ago.

Early on i considered going with the INC grain but i wanted something with less structure and TCK is

really ticking all boxes with a subtile grain up close that stretches out smooth over the toe. GE8

leather sole + Vibram topy.

Great service from the guys at Skoaktiebolaget as always

( IPhone6, no filter, no polish, straight out of the box)

Time to break out the Chukka's ... the fall wet weather is here.

The croc loafers will have to go into hibernation until a dry day!
