Resoles by St.Crispin? what was the cost?

It's been years, so I no longer remember. With the service and shipping though, it ends up being something around a couple of hundred dollars. Don't remember exactly.

I recently sold a lightly used pair for $850, although I had it resoled and recrafted.

If they were lightly used then I take it that the resoling and recrafting was purely in aid of the sale?

They look pretty darned good.

Given its flexibilities and construction methods, Saint Crispins should really be compared with the likes of Bestetti, Meccarriello at the low end and semi-bespoke order of Yanagimachi, Fukuda, etc at the high end.

Saint Crispins last modification is okay.  YMMV.

Agreed, I've only had shoes re-lasted after modifications were made to a last. It made a "modest" difference.

My latest order will be made with those modifications. Should be a true test of this service.

I've just received two pairs that were relasted to account for fit adjustments. These are pret adjustments not last modifications, but the results seem pretty good.

Wait - this is a thing? What kind of adjustments can be made, and what was the approximate cost?

This is a thing. Multiple adjustments can be made, as indicated in the pic posted above. If you're not a really super difficult fit, these adjustments can make a standard last fit you as close to perfectly as possible. I had a couple tweaks to the classic last in an 8.5G and the shoes fit like an absolute dream.
