Just off the image/style, this is one of the sexier (non-wholecut) oxfords I've seen.

Since you asked for it:

Hi guys,

I just picked up my SCs today and am currently wearing them for the first time. I believe this is the model 575 derby in a burgundy VNA leather.

This is the first time I wear them and pretty much instantly they've picked up this very prominent creasing (see pics- 2 big horizontal creases on each shoe) Is this normal? I don't like it. Can anyone offer advice on how to reduce it or how it will change over time?

Thanks.

How do the shoes fit you? My shoes are made from crust leather and have substantially less creasing than yours, albeit mine are made on a personal last. I think in this case of creasing, fit is likely to be more the culprit than leather quality.

So nice, is the split toe done with a boar bristle reverse stitch?

Looks like the shoes are too big for you in length and/or instep, but I could be wrong.

Geez StC has really been taking a beating in this thread lately.

Not a shoe expert by any means, but this seems a fit issue to me.

I don't know guys they seem to fit me well and I had a couple of fittings already. It's supposed to be a customized last.

Shoes creases, in all quality and prices.
