Care to share the name so we can all avoid this retailer?

A safe bet is that the answer is NOT Skoak lol.

StC now offers an express option for their MTO? What is the cost?

I'm sure it varies by retailer. For example, according to Skoak's StC MTO site, express delivery is $280, assuming those figures are still accurate.

Being a size 4. I wish St. Crispin's had proportional pricing. smile.gif

Always wondered if shoemakers did that for exotic skins...maybe us small footed folks can lobby to make it happen! lol

RE: delivery times

Delivery time is usually about 12 weeks. However, if you place an order just before summer or Christmas it's more like 14-16 weeks because they close the factory for a few weeks during these periods. But as with any manufacturer that makes MTOs, you will find that delivery times may fluctuate. The StC factory is very, very small - if a worker calls in sick for a week this will have an impact on lead times. It*s that small. Part of the charm!

I can also vouch for the Armoury and Leffot, both from whom I've made orders recently, so from my experience, it's a safe bet it's not either of them.

You're well within your rights to email Philip directly if you're really feeling hard done by your retailer/wait time. I personally used to feel like it was on the retailer to manage the relationship and handle things with the maker but sometimes they're just playing telephone (or messenger) and it there is utility in making direct contact for updates.

I wouldn't do this for routine updates, but if you're not getting answers and you feel it should have been delivered, St.C/ Philip care enough about their product to communicate with you.
